How to use the Employee Loans Feature in the Payroll Integrations App

Once you have finished setting up your integration connection and Mapping your Deduction/Earnings Codes through the Payroll Integrations website, a loan mapping will need to be completed to log any outstanding 401k loans that were taken out prior to the integration going live. If there are no outstanding loans at the time of setup, you may skip this step and move onto Employee filtering.

Any loans taken out after testing is completed and the integration has gone live will be automatically logged in the Payroll Integrations system as the integration sets new loans up in payroll.

To complete the steps below, please ensure that your MFA is enabled (Enabling Multi-Factor Authentication).

1. Log into your Payroll Integrations account.

8. Following the instructions listed above, fill out the template with your employee loan information and save it as a CSV file.

*Loan Identifier is the loan ID or number on the recordkeeper end (usually 1, 2, 3, etc.)*

*You can use EITHER employee display ID from payroll or Social Security number, you don't need both.*

*Social Security numbers need to be formatted without dashes. If the SSN has a leading zero, format the cell as text so the leading zero does not drop off*
*Employee Group code will only be relevant to plans using ADP WorkForce Now or ADP Total Source. This will be your 3-digit ADP company code.*
